Mr. Ken Cox, West Jessamine High School’s interim principal for the 2013-2014 school years, seems excited for this school year. He was truly honored when Kathy Fields and Jimmy Adams asked him to take the role as West Jessamine High’s principal.

Mr. Cox comes from 14 years as head principal at Tates Creek High School and more recently the athletic director for our school district.

Mr. Cox does not plan on applying for the full position, but he intends to make the transition easy for the new principal. This year, he hopes to rekindle the excitement in the building, have more student involvement and make the atmosphere of the building more open.

So far this school year he is having “more fun than the law allows.”
